COURSE:

Half marathoners will pass the Buena Vista Lagoon as they head out to Carlsbad Boulevard and along the ocean to the turnaround point at Breakwater Road and back to the finish line. The out-and-back course is gently rolling, with no major elevation changes and enjoys almost 8 miles of unobstructed ocean views. Half marathons have up to 4 hours to complete the course.

BENEFITTING SAVE THE STORKS:

Leading up to race day, we have the opportunity to raise awareness and donations for Save the Storks. Save the Storks gives free resources and support to pregnant women, to empower them when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. You may have seen their "stork buses" around, (the closest is San Marcos) where they offer free ultrasounds + resources through these mobile clinics to pregnant women to save babies lives. The goal is to help gain awareness and ultimately raise up to $250k to have a local bus here in Temecula Valley.
